Reflecting on his personal journey, the APC chieftain recounted his upbringing in Aba, educational and professional experiences in the United States, entrepreneurial achievements, and contributions to governance, stressing that those experiences have equipped him with the competence and capacity needed to reposition Abia State.

According to him, Abia is currently at a defining moment in its history, especially at a time when states have increasing access to resources and opportunities. However, he noted that many citizens are yet to feel the full impact of governance in their daily lives.

Kalu emphasized that Ndi Abia deserve “more transparency, more inclusion, more accountability, and a clearer understanding of how public resources are being utilized for their benefit.”

The governorship hopeful further stated that the people deserve a government that is deliberate about long-term prosperity rather than one that merely satisfies immediate political expectations.

“I believe the future of Abia must go beyond promises. It must be built on vision, competence, inclusion, transparency, economic expansion, human capital development, and governance that truly reaches the people,” he stated.

He maintained that economic growth must be accompanied by significant investments in education, healthcare, innovation, enterprise development, youth empowerment, and community advancement.

According to Kalu, opportunities in Abia should not be concentrated in the hands of a few individuals or limited to certain locations, but should be accessible to every hardworking citizen across the state.

The APC aspirant also clarified that his ambition is driven by service and genuine commitment to the people rather than politics alone.

“I am not driven by politics alone. I am driven by the belief that more can be done for Ndi Abia,” he declared.

Kalu expressed optimism about the future of the state, insisting that with collective effort, Abia can become economically stronger, socially inclusive, globally competitive, and truly people-centered.

“The future of Abia is bright, and I believe our best days are still ahead of us,” he added.
