Katsina Woman Catches Husband Having Sexual Intercourse With Neighbour’s Goat

A 43-year-old father of six children, identified as Babangida Garba, has been arrested in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State over allegations that he engaged in a sexual act with a goat belonging to his neighbour.

Garba, a goldsmith based in the Kasuwan Mata area of Funtua, was reportedly apprehended after his wife allegedly caught him in the act and raised an alarm, attracting residents of the community. The suspect was subsequently handed over to law enforcement authorities.

The incident has generated widespread attention following the suspect’s public parade at the Katsina State Police Command headquarters.

Speaking with journalists during the parade, Garba admitted to the allegation and disclosed that it was not the first time he had engaged in such conduct.

“Yes, it is true. My wife caught me while I was with the goat and immediately raised an alarm,” he reportedly said.

He further stated that he could not clearly explain what motivated his actions.
“It would be the second time I would do it, but I do not know exactly why I did it. I have six children, and my wife is currently pregnant,” he added.

According to police authorities, the incident occurred in Unguwar Mata, Funtua Local Government Area, where the goat reportedly belonging to one of the suspect’s neighbours.

The Katsina State Commissioner of Police confirmed the arrest, stating that the suspect would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

During interrogation, Garba reportedly claimed that marital challenges, including a lack of intimacy with his wife, contributed to his actions. However, police authorities have not indicated whether the claim would have any bearing on the legal proceedings.

The suspect was paraded alongside several other individuals arrested for various offences across the state as part of the police command’s ongoing efforts to tackle crime and maintain public order.
