Dr. Chima Anyaso Hails Gov. Alex Otti’s Transformative Leadership, Endorses Second Term Bid
Dr Chima Anyaso hails Governor Alex Otti for redefining leadership in Abia State, endorsing him for a second term. Anyaso vows Old Bende will deliver even more votes for Otti in 2027, citing his transformative governance and development-driven agenda.

A renowned philanthropist and political leader from the Old Bende bloc in Abia State, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), has applauded the visionary leadership and developmental achievements of Governor Alex Otti.
Speaking to journalists during a Grand Civic Reception organized by the people of Old Bende under the umbrella body, “Old Bende Progressive Union”, in honour of Governor Otti at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, Dr. Anyaso described the Governor as a leader who has “redefined governance and set Abia on a new path of sustainable progress.”
According to Dr. Anyaso, “Governor Otti’s transformative work continues to inspire confidence and restore hope in the Abia dream. As proud sons and daughters of Old Bende, we stand with him and reaffirm our unwavering support for this new era of purposeful leadership.”
Dr. Anyaso also used the opportunity to align himself with the endorsement of Governor Alex Otti for a second term by the people of Old Bende.
In his words, “During the 2023 election, Bende LGA — which is my immediate constituency — delivered Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, even though we were in the opposition party at the time. In fact, Bende’s result was the first to arrive at the collation center. If we could achieve that in 2023 while in opposition, now that we are part of the ruling party, we will double our block votes for Dr. Alex Otti in the 2027 election.”
Dr. Anyaso concluded, “Governor Otti’s sterling performance and visible developmental strides across the state have made our job much easier. Abians can now proudly say that hope has been restored.”
