Aba South Boss, Anyanwu Welcomes Residents to New November, Urges Faith, Unity, Support for Gov. Otti’s Vision”

Aba South LGA Chairman, Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu, welcomes residents to November, describing it as a month of renewal and progress. He urges peace, unity, hygiene, and continued faith in Governor Alex Otti’s leadership amid economic hardship.
The Executive Chairman of Aba South Local Government Area, Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu, has extended heartfelt felicitations to all residents of the council area as they welcome the new month of November, describing it as “a season of renewal, progress, and thanksgiving.”
In a message personally signed and released from his office in Aba, Hon. Anyanwu said November represents a new opportunity for reflection, unity, and collective advancement. He commended the resilience of the people of Aba South — predominantly traders, artisans, and business owners — to continue to uphold the commercial lifeblood of Abia State despite prevailing economic challenges.
“My dear people of Aba South, I heartily welcome you to the month of November — a month of renewal, progress, and thanksgiving,” Anyanwu said.
Continuing, he wrote: “Even in the face of hardship, we must remain hopeful, peaceful, and law-abiding. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and together, we will overcome the difficulties of this season.”
The council boss urged residents to remain good citizens of Abia State and Nigeria, upholding moral values, obeying laws, and supporting initiatives that promote development and peace. He encouraged everyone to maintain personal hygiene and ensure a pollution-free environment, describing public health and cleanliness as critical to sustainable growth.
Hon. Anyanwu also called for cooperation, unity, and love among all residents, noting that communal harmony is essential for progress.
“Let us stand together as one people — united in purpose, strong in faith, and committed to building a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Aba South,” he said.
While applauding the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for his visionary and transformative leadership, Hon. Anyanwu reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering solidarity and loyalty to the governor’s Labour Party-led government.
“Governor Alex Otti has given Aba South a remarkable facelift through people-centered projects and transparent governance,” he said. “As a council, we remain solidly behind his vision and will continue to support every effort aimed at restoring Abia’s pride and progress.”
The chairman appealed to residents to sustain their faith in the Otti-led government, assuring that the current economic challenges will give way to better days of prosperity and growth.
“November reminds us that every dawn brings new possibilities. Let us keep faith alive, work together, and continue to believe in the future of our great state,” he concluded.
