In line with the sustenance of his Legislative principle of Utilitarianism, Bende LGA was agog with Uncontrollable excitement, as the Indefatigable Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial District And Chairman Senate Committee On Privatization, His Excellency Most Distinguished Senator Dr.Orji Uzor kalu.(MON), flagged off the distribution of educational materials in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State amidst massive jocularity.
The event which took place in Apuanu Item Community primary School and two Community primary schools in Amaekpu Item, respectively, witnessed a great Joy and happiness courtesy of Senator Kalu’s Midas touch.
The Senator who was represented by Barr Victor Etie, Senior Legislative Assistant For Abia North Senatorial District and accompanied by the Legislative Assistant for Bende LGA, Barr Igwe Ifeanyi, charged the pupils to make good use of the kind gestures offered to them by the amiable Senator and take their studies very seriously.
It is imperative to mention that Most Distinguished Senator Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu is incredibly passionate about providing quality Education for the people of Abia North and beyond as evidenced by his numerous interventions in improving Education for his constituents through his various Educational Interventions programs through out Abia North and the only way they can repay the faith the senator has in them is by making conscientious efforts to come out with flying colors in their exams and make their studies a priority.
Amidst Uncontrollable ecstasy, the Principals of Apuanu Item community Primary school and Amaekpu Item Community primary school, while reacting to Senator Kalu’s immeasurable benevolence towards the Community, thanked the senator for remembering their schools and pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to the senator.
In their various speeches, the Education committee Chairman of Apuanu Item community primary school Mr. Augustine Iheanacho and his counterpart of Amaekpu Item, Extoled the good virtues of the Indomitable Senator and reiterated the outright support of the community to the Senator, while imploring the Senator to come to their aid and renovate some of the school buildings for a more conducive learning.
Exquisitely, The event witnessed the distribution of thousands of expensive school bags, note books and text books to every pupil of the aforementioned schools.
