Uruakpa Congratulates Chief Eruba over Screening

A Stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abia State Chapter,
Engr. Uruakpa Chinwe sterling has felicitated with Hon Eruba on his successful screening and comfirmation as a substantive Board member representing Abia State on the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC).

According to the APC stalwart, all members of the party in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State and the entire State in general “are very happy for the noble appointment.”

Meanwhile, he expressed profound gratitude to Mr. President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for picking the right personality for the position.

Also, he used the medium to urge Eruba to continue in his good approach towards the development of the Community, the Council and the Abia State in general.

Uruakpa who expressed confidence in Eruba, therefore, called on all Asa Sons and daughters to support the former, saying, “for he is a man with a heart of gold and I am very certain that Hon Eruba will execute his responsibilities dutifully”, he added.

It could be recalled that President Tinubu, had on August 29, 2023, appointed Chiedu Ebie as the Chairman of the Board of the Commission and Samuel Ogbuku as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Also, the president reappointed Ogbuku for a second term and has been in an acting capacity, pending the Senate’s confirmation of his reappointment.

Subsequently, the Nigerian Senate approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

It would be recalled that the president also approved the immediate replacement of the Ondo State Representative nominee on the board, Victor Akinjo, with Hon. Otito Atikase.

Tinubu also approved the immediate replacement of the NDDC’s Cross River State Representative nominee, Asi Oku Okang, with a new Rt. Hon. Orok Otuk Duke.

Mr. Kyrian Uchegbu – State Representative – Imo

Hon. Otito Atikase – State Representative – Ondo
