We’re solidly behind you, Abayi-Amaugwu Assures YPP’s Wachuku
The people of Abayi-Amaugwu have expressed gratitude to Chief Chuku Wachuku, the YPP Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central Zone in the 2023 General Elections, for his consistently staying in touch and his unreserved magnanimity towards the entire people of Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
The ex Director-General of National Directorate of Employment, Chief Wachuku, represented by his Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Jaja Martins, during the end of year meeting by the people of Abayi Amaugwu described them as peaceful and cooperative people, invested in mutual coexistence, love and unity.
The Senatorial hopeful who thanked them for their constant assurances of massive support reiterated Family Economic Empowerment (not Keke Napep empowerment), Good and Sustainable Jobs ( not 2 cups of rice), Wealth Creation (not gift) and transfer of power to the next generation as his core drives for seeking election into the Nigerian Senate, vowed to deliver on his promises when elected into power. He wished them a merry Christmas in advance as they mark end of the year, 2022.
The Osisioma Ngwa people who acknowledged the turn of Isiala North LGA to produce the next Senator of Abia Central Zone, pointed out that their support for Chief Chuku Wachuku is massive due to the fact that, in Umunneato Ngwa, Isiala Ngwa South and Osisioma Ngwa LGAs had all had their shots at the Nigeria Senate in the present democratic dispensation, noting that as Senate power is leaving Ikwuano/Umuahia bloc in 2023, the next destination is the ancestral home of Ngwa Land, Isiala Ngwa North LGA.
The occasion was chaired by the President of Abayi-Amaugwu Solidarity Movement ( A.A.S.M.), Prince Ugocnukwu Eze Ukaegbu. The in-coming Governor of Abia State under the platform of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Sir Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, was represented by Bar. Benson Ogbuchiwe. A german-based philanthropist and avowed supporter of all YPP candidates, Emmanuel Okebugwu, the Coordinator of Team Uri-Chindere in Osisioma Ngwa South, Comrade Stanley Ukaegbu and a host of other prominent sons and daughters of Abayi-Amaugwu were in attendance.
