REPORT: Vince McMahon’s new attitude at WWE SmackDown following the closing of XFL and WrestleMania Tampa cancellation

There has been a lot said on social media in the last 24 hours about Vince McMahon’s appearance on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

For those of you that missed it, McMahon was on the show to celebrate Triple H’s 25 years with the company. McMahon had nice things to say about his son-in-law while also roasting him for some of the bad angles he’s been involved in over the years. At times, it was hard to make out what McMahon was saying as it sounded like he was rambling. Others noticed that McMahon appeared to look slimmer than he’s ever looked while still in good shape for his age. Others remarked that McMahon seemed to be in a “don’t give a F” mode and was just having fun after a bad few weeks with the XFL declaring bankruptcy and WrestleMania being forced to pull out of Raymond James Stadium.

WrestleVotes poted a screenshot from someone who has been around McMahon during the last couple of weeks. The message reads: “…that is what he’s been like the last 2 weeks or so I’m seeing. Think this pandemic, Mania cancelled, XFL getting killed has finally got to him and he’s at the “f*ck it” part of it all. ‘Screw it Vince’ could be wild.”

We’ve seen hints of this when Triple H revealed this week that McMahon had no idea what the Boneyard Match would be about as he simply told Triple H to just “make it good.” His erratic behavior is still prevalent at shows as well. Last Monday, recently-released WWE Superstar Sarah Logan was scheduled to appear on the show but was then pulled from the script shortly before they went on the air.
