MSSTI, Henry Ikoh Lauds Osinbajo, Crabtree, Others Over Successful COP27

 

 

The honourable Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh has commended the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for the roles he played in facilitating the leading the efforts of Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS).

In his appreciation letter made available to Famousreporters.com, today, Ikoh thanked all and sundry who on different capacities, contributed to the success of the just concluded 2022 COP27, held in Egypt, saying that it was impactful.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God for a successful launch.

It was indeed an impactful event.

“My warmest gratitude goes to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,  Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for leading the efforts on CCUS development in Nigeria;

 

“The Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy and Carbon Management,  Mr. Brad Crabtree and his Team;

 

“Also, Dr. Richard Victor Osu; Dr. Lily Odarno; Casie Davidson;  Adam Wong and Dr. Peter Ekweozoh, mni for their individual efforts in planning this event.

 

The President of Clean Air Task Force, Mr. Armond Cohen and his Team.

It could be recalled that the Honourable Minister had represented Nigeria the launch of Global Clean Tech Innovation Programme  (GCIP) by UNIDO MD and Ministers of partnering countries.

 

Famousreporters.com reports that Ozurumba had, during the world event, called for an innovative approach to enable the Cleantech ecosystem by harmonising the contributions of critical actors while fostering an attractive business environment for the startups, SMEs and Innovators.
