Justice for My Brother”: Man Shot Dead After Exposing Market Theft in Anambra

Pandemonium erupted in Anambra state, as a young man was reportedly shot dead after exposing theft in Eke Awka market”

A heartbreaking post shared by Facebook user Nasa Love has revealed how her brother was brutally shot dead after exposing a theft syndicate operating in the Eke Awka Market, Anambra State.

According to her, the deceased worked for a woman who sells fowls and other items in the market. He reportedly discovered that some of the boys working around them were “stealing from their madam and secretly selling the goods to a neighbouring shop.”

After informing the woman and helping her recover the stolen items, the boys allegedly began threatening him, warning him to “stop coming to the shop.”

She added that his candlelight procession will hold on Saturday, while his burial will take place on Sunday.

“We are praying that God grants him eternal rest and gives our family the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” she wrote.
