“Polaris Bank, NACCIMA Launch Export Call Centre for Global Trade”

“In a bold move set to redefine Nigeria’s non-oil export landscape, Polaris Bank has partnered with NACCIMA to launch a groundbreaking Export Support Call Centre—an initiative designed to empower Nigerian businesses with the tools, knowledge, and access needed to compete globally.”

Nigeria’s leading digital retail and commercial bank, Polaris Bank, has facilitated the launch of the NACCIMA Export Support Call Centre, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s export ecosystem, particularly within the non-oil sector.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with NACCIMA, is expected to provide exporters with real-time support, technical guidance, and regulatory advisory services, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in international markets.

Speaking at the unveiling, the Executive Director of Polaris Bank, Chris Ofikulu, described the initiative as a “pivotal moment” in the bank’s mission to empower Nigerian businesses.

“Today, we are marking a pivotal moment in our mission to empower Nigerian businesses for global markets,” Ofikulu said. “Through this collaboration, we are equipping exporters with the tools, infrastructure, and expertise needed to thrive globally.”

The newly launched call centre will serve as a one-stop hub for exporters, offering access to vital information, expert advisory, and solutions tailored to navigating the complexities of global trade.

Polaris Bank supported the initiative by providing critical infrastructure, including laptops, fully equipped workstations, internet-enabled modems, and high-capacity printers. This investment is intended to ensure efficient operations and seamless service delivery.

Furthermore, Ofikulu emphasised that the call centre would bridge existing gaps in export support services, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“This centre is not just a call centre; it is a catalyst for success. By offering exporters the right support, we are unlocking their potential to compete globally,” he added.

The initiative aligns with Polaris Bank’s broader commitment to trade facilitation and economic growth. Through its digital platform, VULTe, the bank enables seamless intra-African transactions, leveraging the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) to enhance payment efficiency across borders.

In addition, Polaris Bank offers exporters a suite of financial solutions, including working capital support, stock refinancing, and advisory services on regulatory requirements such as NXP documentation.

“We are excited to be part of this transformative initiative,” Ofikulu concluded. “Our focus on innovation and SME support remains central to shaping the future of Nigeria’s export sector.”

Industry stakeholders believe the unveiling of the NACCIMA Export Support Call Centre marks a significant step toward improving export readiness, expanding market access, and driving sustainable economic growth in Nigeria.
