JUST IN: Popular Football Star Found Dead At His Home

FORMER international footballer who once scored a goal at a major international tournament, Tendai Ndoro has tragically passed away.

Tendai Ndoro was famous as a striker. He was shockingly found lifeless at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 40.

Although the cause of his death is still unascertained, there are speculations that he had health challenges in recent times, prior to his demise.

The news of his death was confirmed in a release by his former club, Orlando Pirates, wherein the club expressed profound sad feelings over the death of the star, while also condoling with the deceased’s family and friends.

The news read thus: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former striker Tendai Ndoro.

“The club extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.”

Fans continued the tributes, with one saying: “Rest in peace brother.”

Another added: “Thank you for the memories. Condolences to the entire family. Till we meet again.”

Similarly , another fan reminisced: “I will never forget his screamer against Kaizer Chiefs… RIP legend Ndoro.”

Ex-Zimbabwe star Ndoro played 14 times for his country between 2013 and 2017.

He scored five goals and one strike came against Tunisia in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ndoro made a name for himself at Zimbabwean club Chicken Inn before getting a transfer to the South African Premiership in 2013.

He scored 14 goals for Black Aces before moving on to one of the league’s biggest clubs Orlando Pirates.

In his two seasons there, he netted 23 goals and finished as the division’s second top scorer in the 2016-17 campaign.

A brief spell at Saudi Arabian side Al-Faisaly followed before he returned to South Africa to play for Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park.

Ndoro hung up his boots in 2020 at Al-Orouba in Oman.
