IPADA, NBCC Partner to Boost Africa-US Trade, Investment

A new Africa-US economic partnership is opening fresh doors for trade, tourism, investment and diaspora collaboration. IPADA Initiatives, the National Black Chamber of Commerce and D Evans Consulting Inc. have joined forces in a strategic move that could connect businesses, investors, governments and professionals across continents.

Africa and its global diaspora are getting a new economic bridge as IPADA Initiatives joins forces with major US business partners to unlock trade, tourism and investment opportunities.

IPADA Initiatives has partnered with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and D Evans Consulting Inc. to boost Africa-US trade, investment, tourism, workforce development and diaspora engagement. The partnership, formalised through an MoU signed on July 29, 2026, will support investment readiness, trade missions, business matchmaking, cultural exchange and regional economic development ahead of the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026.

Lagos, Nigeria — August 15, 2026: A major push to deepen trade, investment, tourism and economic ties between Africa and the global Black diaspora is taking shape as IPADA Initiatives partners with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and D Evans Consulting Inc.

The strategic partnership is expected to open new opportunities for businesses, investors, governments and professionals across Africa and the United States, while also strengthening cultural exchange and diaspora engagement.

The three organisations formalised the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on July 29, 2026. The agreement comes ahead of the December 3, 2026 opening of the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026, the annual mega cultural tourism fiesta promoted by IPADA Initiatives.

IPADA-NBCC Partnership Targets Trade and Investment Growth

The partnership brings together the organisations’ networks and expertise to promote sustainable economic development.

Under the agreement, IPADA Initiatives will lead activities focused on diaspora engagement, tourism, cultural exchange, government collaboration and investment promotion across Africa.

The National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) will use its national and international business networks to promote trade, market access, investment and strategic partnerships between the United States and Africa.

Meanwhile, D Evans Consulting Inc. will serve as the strategic implementation partner.

The consulting firm will provide investment-readiness programmes, workforce development, organisational transformation, executive education and strategic advisory services.

Key Areas of Collaboration

The partners will jointly pursue several initiatives aimed at creating new business and investment opportunities.

These include:

• Investment-readiness programmes;
• Trade missions and investment forums;
• Business-to-Business (B2B) matchmaking;
• Government-to-Business (G2B) matchmaking;
• Workforce development and executive education;
• Tourism and cultural exchange;
• Cross-border business partnerships;
• Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs); and
• Regional economic development projects.

According to the partners, the agreement is designed to create practical opportunities for investment, business expansion, workforce transformation and cultural collaboration.

It is also expected to support long-term economic growth across Africa and the Global African Diaspora.

Partnership to Create New Economic Pathways

The organisations described the agreement as more than a formal business arrangement.

Furthermore, the organisations said they are ready to work with governments, chambers of commerce, investors, educational institutions, development organisations and private-sector leaders.

The goal is to build inclusive economic opportunities and establish sustainable international partnerships.

With the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026 scheduled to open in December, the partnership could provide a wider platform for African businesses, investors and diaspora communities to connect, exchange ideas and explore new economic opportunities.
