Afugiri Youth Federated and Village Youth Chairmen and executive of Afugiri ward in Ohuhu Constituency, Umuahia North L.G.A, of Abia State have expressed their readiness and preparedness to guide against vote buying and selling in the forthcoming general election.

Speaking at Umuokoroala Afugiri when they had an audience with the African Democratic Congress, ADC candidate for Umuahia North State Constituency, Rev. Blessed Amalambu, the Afugiri Youth Federated President, Mr. Chukwu Adindu who decried the plights of the Constituents and the deplorable nature of the Constituency, insisted that they want to change the narrative in 2023, as they can’t avoid to make the wrong choice in the next election.

While praying God to grant the Ohuhu youths the vision to follow the right track, Adindu encouraged Rev. Amalambu to keep on waxing strong as it is only the God Almighty that makes a king.

Addressing the youths, the ADC House of Assembly candidate, Rev. Blessed Amalambu reaffirmed his vision to introduce technological empowerment and enablement in the Constituency for an advanced development, if duly elected as a legislator.

His words, “Our journey to the State House of Assembly is not a lone adventure but it requires a collective effort, I need you to succeed and you need me to represent you and be your voice in the legislative house”.

Amalambu said as an agriculturist, clergyman and corruption fighter that he will give a service to Ohuhu people that posterity will always remember.

“Ohuhu people do not need an Oh yes legislator, we need a lawmaker who will sponsor and pursue a bill that will favour the government and the people. Ohuhu needs a candidate who is not corrupt”, Rev. Amalambu said, even as he reminded them that money politics is inimical to the growth, progress and development of the society.

Speaking earlier, the Rev. Amalambu Campaign Director General, Mr. Tochi Onyema, who is a clergyman described Rev. Amalambu as a man who is not crazy about wealth but he’s coming to set the records straight in Ohuhu Constituency and which will serve as a reference point to the Constituents.
