Ike Ekweremadu: Supposed Kidney Donor Narrates Journey To UK

David Ukpo Nwamini the alleged 15-year-old boy who was taken to the United Kingdom for a disguised job offer said it took the Ekweremadu’s barely 8-days to secure both his International Passport and Visa to facilitate his relocation to the United Kingdom.
- Narrating his ordeals, he sai: “After a week they told me my visa and passport are ready they told me we are going to leave tomorrow, and I was taken to the airport from there we land in the UK I was taken to a hospital in the UK.”
David Ukpo Nwamini, the alleged 15-year-old boy who was taken to the United Kingdom by a former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has narrated how he landed in London.
It would be recalled that David was flown to the UK to donate one of his kidneys to Ike Ekweremadu’s daughter who has a kidney ailment.
But the Specialist Crime Team of the Metropolitan Police in London arrested the Senator and his wife, Beatrice.
Our correspondents learnt that Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested on Tuesday at the Heathrow Airport in London en route to Istanbul in Turkey and detained on allegations of child trafficking and organ harvesting after they had flown David to the UK for a kidney transplant.
They were arraigned before a UK Magistrate court on Thursday. Ekweremadu and his wife were subsequently denied bail in court, and the case was adjourned to July 7 for further hearing.
David Ukpo Nwamini narrated that the Senator had told him to work for his company in the United Kingdom.
David who posted on his Facebook timeline explained that the lawmaker didn’t tell him about a kidney transplant but the doctor billed to perform the organ harvesting had informed him.

“On one fateful day I met a man named Okoro at a building site where I was working for my daily bread, Okoro told me he liked me, he want to help me achieve my dream because he saw me as a great person.
“He told me could you like to work in the UK I just started laughing because I don’t have money for that, then I told him no am not interested and asked me why I told him I don’t have money for that.
“He just started laughing at me and told me he is going to introduce me to a senator whose company in the UK need workers, so he could start my visa processing.
“I have no other option than to accept the offer, after two days the man came to the building site again and told me the senator wanted to see me so we could start the visa processing, then I dropped my shovel and head pan and went to bath immediately.
“Mr Okoro took me to an unknown area where I haven’t been before, I was afraid maybe he is a money ritualist, I encouraged myself since I knew Mr Okoro for a long time there will be no problem. Mr Okoro hand me over to one young man wearing a suit, he told me everything about then I told him Mr Okoro has already explained everything to me and I have accepted to work in the UK.
“The next day this young man introduced me to another man immediately I saw the man I greeted him, I don’t know his name then he told me he is the owner of the company that wants workers in the UK and asked me if am interested in work I said yes sir immediately with happiness all over my heart.
“They later gave me a room in that mansion and snap me a passport photograph and told there will start my visa processing immediately. the kind of food I ate there my generation hadn’t eaten before. I was so happy staying in that house. After a week they told me my visa and passport are ready they told me we are going to leave tomorrow, and I was taken to the airport from there we land in the UK I was taken to a hospital in the UK.
“When we landed in the hospital in the UK I was told I must go for a medical test to check my health status if I’m fit for the job I accepted without any question. I thank God for doctor harry who told me everything and I told him why I’m here and he later called the police for my rescue”.
However, the former Senator had refuted the statement, asserting that his supposed kidney donor had consented to their request, before he was flown to the United Kingdom.
