Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reignited controversy following the recent wedding of Pastor Chris Okafor, founder and General Overseer of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, popularly known as Liberation City.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Ogala had earlier taken to Instagram in a viral video to accuse the clergyman of reneging on an alleged promise to marry her, despite what she described as an intimate relationship that began in 2017. In the video, the actress accused Pastor Okafor of emotional manipulation, financial exploitation, and being complicit in circumstances surrounding the death of her younger brother, among other serious allegations.

Following the pastor’s wedding, Ogala—who had previously threatened to disrupt the ceremony—returned to social media with fresh claims, this time targeting the clergyman’s newly wedded wife.

According to the actress, the marriage was allegedly carried out under compulsion. She claimed that the bride, whom she alleged is 21 years old, was forced into the union after being raped by the clergyman. Ogala further alleged that the young woman’s mother, said to be a choir coordinator in the church, had also been romantically involved with Pastor Okafor.
Ogala alleged that threats of legal action from the bride’s family left the clergyman with no option but to proceed with the marriage.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, the actress wrote:

“This mumu married a 21-year-old girl that he raped. The girl’s mother was a coordinator in his church. He used to sleep with the girl’s mother. I swear I will expose all of your secrets. I will be playing everyone’s voice note next.”
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
