2027: Darlington Nwokocha Begs Ikpeazu for Forgiveness, Seeks Wike’s Support for Abia Central Senate Ticket, Says Otti Cannot Be Trusted

Darlington Nwokocha pleads to have a meeting with Wike over 2027 Abia Central Senatorial PDP Ticket
…Enyinnaya Appolos Reveals

A fresh political controversy has erupted in Abia State ahead of the 2027 elections following allegations by Enyinnaya Appolos that former House of Representatives member Darlington Nwokocha privately sought Okezie Ikpeazu’s forgiveness and requested his assistance in securing a meeting with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over the PDP senatorial ticket for Abia Central.

Enyinnaya Appolos has accused Darlington Nwokocha of allegedly seeking Okezie Ikpeazu’s forgiveness and requesting assistance to meet Nyesom Wike over the 2027 Abia Central PDP senatorial ticket.

When unstable characters like Darlinton Nwokocha speak, one wonders whether there is any substance behind the noise.

Darlinton, why drag Ambassador Ikpeazu into your political frustrations? What exactly is the connection between the flyover and your campaign?

Are you people not embarrassed that even some of the roads constructed under Otti’s administration have already collapsed? So, why the endless ranting over a failed portion of the flyover?
What was wrong with the Ururuka Roundabout, Aba–Owerri Road, and the Garment Factory that you had to retrofit them? Why are you not equally concerned about the deterioration of the road beneath the flyover, caused by the ill-conceived water-spilling fountain installed there?
Why the selective outrage?

When will you and your associates stop dragging Okezie Ikpeazu into your political delusions? Is Ikpeazu on the ballot against you? Why not focus on your suffering-and-smiling politics with Alex Otti and leave Ambassador Ikpeazu alone.

Is he not the same Ambassador Ikpeazu whose residence in Abuja you visited frequently during the period of party nominations, when you were secretly seeking the PDP senatorial ticket? Is he not the same man from whom you begged forgiveness for your uncouth diatribes during the 2023 elections and whom you pleaded with to facilitate a meeting with the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, because, by your own account, you do not trust Alex Otti?

Do I need to remind you that Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is now Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain? He has moved on to diplomatic responsibilities that are far beyond the petty local political quarrels you seem determined to revive.

Leave Ambassador Ikpeazu out of your political frustrations and concentrate on your campaign. You and your political allies should explain your records, defend your promises and tell the people what you intend to offer them. The public deserves more than recycled grievances, personal insinuations and political mudslinging.

A word is enough for the wise. Any further mis-yarn from you against Ambassador Ikpeazu, be prepared for the consequence. Do not mistake his restraint for weakness or assume that your political theatrics will go unanswered.
