AMOBI OGAH- A Loose Dynamite On The Rampage

BY OLIVER UDEOGU

For those who do not know, Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah’ has declared interest in the political contest of his area Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State, for the Federal House of Representatives, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This amiable young man Amobi Ogah no doubt, has distinguished himself in the society, as a man of value, industry and ingenuity, having founded reputable companies that are striving today in the land, thereby boasting a staff strength of over 5,000 employees in his fold.
A mean feat for a man of his status one may say afterall.

That Amobi Ogah’ has thrown his hat into the ring for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency is no longer news in the area but rather, his being poised to pull the rug off the feet of the incumbent legislator Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other contestants to the seat, by wrestling power on a clean slate is what is considered news today in the area.

Chief Amobi’s foray into politics cannot be seen as one of an accidental move, but rather as a clarion call he chose passionately to answer, by offering himself for service, to the good people of his constituency.
Even God wouldn’t have forgiven him, had he choosen not to heed to the call by his people.

I have known Chief Amobi Ogah’ for quite long, having grown up with him in Enugu during our childhood days.

As such, there is no single person among his peers today, that does not speak good of him and as such wish him well in his endeavours, knowing he is a man with an open door policy and as such, has helped many of his peers.
His ability in breaking protocols is one described as second to none, as he relates cordially with both the ‘High and mighty’, and the ordinary people in society.
An attribute that is quite uncommon with people of his status so to say.

The Political arena in his constituency just like in other places, have charged to its limit, over who represents the people of the area at the Green Chamber.
Be that as it may, the biggest political battle has just commenced in the area with Chief Ogah’s declaration of interest, with a likely upset to occur in the area, at the end of hostilities.

Amobi Ogah’s humility has made him choice of the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi, who are tired of the political monopoly of their area since 2017, and as such desirous of political change of the status quo in the area, for an effective representation at the Green Chamber.

Chief Amobi Ogah’s foundation, the Amobi Ogah’ foundation, is a scheme that had brought a large number of Abia youths out of the labour market. Some of these youths were empowered through skills acquisation, as well as start up capital for business take off, in their various choices of enterprise.
Today, these youths are gainfully employed and as such, able to put food on their table, thereby reducing the level of criminality in the State.
The elderly are not left out in Amobi Ogah’s scheme of priorities as well.
This is because the Uturu born philanthropist has empowered many aged men and women of Abia origin, to the glory of God.
Being able to achieve this feat as a private individual, one wonders what will happen, when Chief Ogah’ assumes official capacity.
The sky then will be limit of teeming youths of the constituency.

It is now left as a matter of political priority, as well expediency, for the electorates of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State Nigeria, to vote accordingly and enmasse, for this young, vibrant and visionary leader Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah’, who from all indications, is the annointed one that would take the area to greater heights.

The journey to greatness and political emancipation of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, has finally begun.
