You Have Made Generational Impact to our World — Onuigbo Hails Dr. Jidda-Fada
The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Rep Sam Onuigbo, has felicitated with Dr. Salamatu Jidda-Fada, Deputy Director, Centre for Climate Change, University of Jos, on her nomination for the conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree by the Bangor University, United Kingdom.
Rep Onuigbo who described this as an honour well-deserved, in recognition of Dr. Jidda-Fada’s immense contribution to Bangor University as a visiting researcher, lauded her ability to integrate her scientific, business and people skills to continue to play a critical role in advancing environmental conservation and promoting diversity.
In his congratulatory message dated 10th March, 2022, Rep Onuigbo said:
“your contributions to our world and its future have therefore been invaluable. On behalf of myself, my family, and the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, I congratulate you for a well deserved honour, and wish you well in all your future endeavours.”
Dr. Salamatu Jidda-Fada, who is “an experienced Conservation and Environmental Professional with strong leadership and inter-relationship – building skills” is an astute educationist with strong interests in biological conservation, environmental management, and sustainable growth. She is employed by the University of Jos, and has affiliations with the Bangor University where she will be conferred with a Doctor of Science Degree in July, 2023.
