With you, our workers, pensioners shall feel fresh breathe’, Mgbeahuru hails Abia Governor, Otti

By Charity Uwakwe

The candidate for Osisioma Ngwa North State under Labour Party, in the 2023 general election, Hon. Iheyinna Mgbeahuru (The Bridge) has congratulated Dr. Alex Otti on his successful inauguration as the fifth duly elected Governor of Abia State.

The former Executive Chairman of Osisioma LGA described the nonstop celebrations which Abia has witnessed since your victorious emergence, as unusual and second to none when compared to other states where similar exercise was held.

According to The Bridge, the untold hearty joy which sprang from the hearts of the people upon Otti’s emergence as the winner of the gubernatorial election, “is a proof that truly you are the chosen one and no doubt shall surely enjoy the full support of Abians who e
vidently have chosen you.

“The fact that Abians can’t hold back their overwhelming joy, is also an indication that they see you as the Messiah who would rescue them from the protracted bad leadership.”

Speaking amidst optimism, the proud son of Ngwa land stressed that the arrival of Otti would restore the lost dignity of the state across the three Senatorial Districts, particularly in the area of infrastructural rehabilitations, while bringing back the seemingly dead hope of Abia workers and pensioners.

“We want to believe that with your emergence, the three Senatorial districts of the State shall be revamped so that we can reclaim our true identity as God’s own State, as it were. We expect that your administration would heal the State of her prolonged infrastructural dilapidation.

“Moreso, we believe that with you driving the vehicle of Abia, our workers and pensioners shall feel a fresh breath whereas our youths shall be gainfully employed.

“Our incoming Governor, a lot is expected of you, because, ‘to whom much is given, much is expected’. And we trust that you shall not dash the hope of Abians.

“We are confident that your arrival shall heal and transform the State thus giving Abians hope again. You are aware of the ills that have ravaged the State and are prepared to ‘take the bull by its horn’.

While also lauding the fervency of other candidates, such as the candidate of Young People’s Party, YPP, Engr. Nana Nwafor, Chief Okey Ahaiwe of the ruling party, PDP, etc, for striving unyieldingly towards ensuring the liberation of Abia, he urged them to shun litigations but embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.

“As for all of our candidates, beginning from the YPP Candidate, Engr. Nana Nwafor, Chief Okey Ahaiwe of PDP, Prof. Gregory Ibe of APGA, etc, I congratulate you all and I also want to use this opportunity to advise you to shun all Court intentions. Rather endeavour to see the victory of Otti as a victory of all and sundry and be determined to work assiduously with him so that we can achieve the Abia of our dream.”
