Wipe Your Tears, Abia Can Be Resuscitated, LP Candidate, Mgbeahuru Assures *Says Otti is the solution

The former Executive Chairman of Osisioma Local Government Council, Abia Stat and Candidate of Labour Party, (LP) for Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency, Hon. Iheyinna Mgbeahuru has urged Abians not to loose faith in God, saying their protracted agonies and prayers have been heard.

Hon. Mgbeahuru, while interacting with newsmen in his Amavo Nkwo country home, yesterday, frowned at the low standard of living in the State, which he regretted had turned Abians into a sorry sight to behold.

The Bridge condemned vehemently the snail-pace development in the State, which he lamented had been left in the merciless hands of “political profiteers”, hence their nonchalant approaches to the yearnings of the people, over the years.

The former Council Boss wailed that at 31, Abia, an acclaimed God’s Own State could scarcely boast of any monumental structures within its metropolis, but assured aggrieved Abians to be of good courage, noting that God had brought a saviour to rescue them from their manacles of frustration and depression.

Mgbeahuru, amidst bitterness, condemned in totality the non payment of salaries and gratuities of workers and pensioners, respectively, poor electricity supply with exorbitant bills, poor water supply and dilapidated road network.

Amidst optimism, he reiterated that the Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Dr. Alex Otti had been chosen by God to wipe their tears and help them not to remember their yesterday’s road.

He, therefore urged Abians to unalloyedly support Otti in his rescue mission so as to restore their wasted years, adding, “and make us have a voice in the midst of their friends from other sister-states.

“Abia is an oil producing state and all ‘hands must be on deck’ to deliver Abia from the cankerworms, locust and caterpillars that have eaten it up from the tap root. We are a blessed people but our resources have been left in the hands of looters who care little or less about the led.

“For how long do we wish to continue living like orphans? We cannot continue to do a particular thing the same way and still expect a different result. It’s unheard of. Let’s support Labour Party in the State; let’s support Dr. Alex Otti, a man who has all it takes to deliver Abia and make it an enviable State.

“Dr. Alex isn’t coming to make money because he is already blessed. He’s only coming to make us be like others… (K’anyi dika Ibe), and that’s it. All he is asking for is my support, your support, our support”, he pleaded.

Meanwhile, he used the medium to congratulate Abians for not not throwing in the towel all through their 31-years journey, which he stressed was characterised by suffering and wants, as he reassured that the emergence of Dr. Otti would bring about a glimmer of hope upon all and sundry.
