Wife of missing welder narrates how customer lured, killed her husband

The wife a missing welder has alleged that her husband’s customer lured him to house and had him killed.

She wailed that while she persistently went about, she put in an appearance at his supposed customer’s house, in search for her beloved husband, the confessions by the security caught her off her guard.

According to a report by Punch Newspapers on Saturday, 12 July 2025, the wife of a missing welder has cried out for justice, alleging that her husband was lured by a supposed customer and has not been seen since.

The young mother of two, a 27-year-old businesswoman from Ijebu Ode, said her husband left home after receiving a job call, only to vanish without a trace.

“I sell clothes and have been married to my husband for six to seven years,” she explained. “He left that day saying a customer had called him for welding work. But he never returned.”

She recounted her desperate search for answers after her husband failed to come back. Her investigations led her to a location believed to be where he had been taken.

“When I got there, I walked in and saw my son’s clipper, my husband’s shoe, handbag, clothes, work tools, and even our house key,” she said. “Immediately, I asked the security man about my husband’s whereabouts, and what he told me shocked me. He said, ‘Na Ifa kill am, he kill am, he come carry am go.’”

The strange and cryptic reply deepened her fears that her husband may have fallen victim to a sinister plot, possibly involving ritual practices.

The distraught woman has since reported the matter to the police but no breakthrough has been recorded yet. She is appealing to authorities to intervene and uncover the truth behind her husband’s disappearance.

“My children are still very young, and every day they keep asking me, ‘Where is daddy?’” she said. “I just want to know what happened. We deserve the truth.”
