On the night of the incident, Cynthia said she left her room to get something. When she came back, she saw a candle burning and was surprised because she doesn’t use candles. Later, Sunny returned with a plastic bottle that she later realized contained fuel. During an argument, Cynthia said she tried to push him out of the house. Sunny accidentally pushed the bottle toward the candle, which caused an explosion and set the room on fire.

Cynthia said she rushed out of the room in pain and confusion, not knowing Sunny would not survive.

“I was pushing him to leave the house. I didn’t want to see him in my house because, already, I have somebody who wants to get married to me,” she said.

Does this truly vindicate young, pregnant Cynthia from the blame of the unfortunate death of her ex-lover?
