UMUAHIA NORTH STATE CONSTITUENCY 2023: Umuhu Ward, Executive Harps Support For ADC Candidate, Amalambu

As the race towards 2023 comes closer, members of Umuhu ward and executive of African Democratic Congress, ADC have appealed to the people of Ohuhu to support the candidature of a clergyman, entrepreneur, anti-corruption crusader, philanthropist and House of Assembly candidate of the Party, Rev. Blessed Amalambu in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

The group described Rev. Amalmbu as a tactician and the only eligible candidate with the capacity to restore the lost glory of the Umuahia North State Constituency.

Speaking at Umuagu community hall during a meeting with the party’s House of Assembly candidate, the ADC Nkwoachara ward chairman, Mr. Udochukwu Okogbue; Mr. Williams Israel, Umuhu ward chairman, Mr. Nkemakolam Ugochukwu among other villagers, decried the protracted failed promises the people have suffered in the hands of politicians over the years.

They, therefore, enjoined the electorates to follow Amalambu who has a divine call to faithfully give the Constituency what rightly belonged to them.

According to them, they strongly believe that equity, transparency, integrity humility, honesty, probity, accountability among others beckons on Rev. Amalambu to effectively and efficiently represent the Constituency, come year 2023.

They reminded eligible constituents that their vote is their power and that power begins with voter registration and to get involved in formal political processes and have a say in formulating today’s and tomorrow’s politics and policies, the first critical step is to get a voter’s card that enables them to become participants, decision-makers, and influencers.

They therefore advised the electorate to critically assess and analyze the antecedents and past records of the candidates from various political parties, examine their policy documents, visions, missions and promises before casting their votes or handing over their mandate to them.

Addressing the members, Rev. Blessed Amalambu maintained he has come to change the narrative and the old system of doing things as a consultative leader.

The ADC candidate for Umuahia North State Constituency, Rev. Amalambu encouraged the electorate not to think of giving their mandate to people with shallow minds without the acumen of doing things right or those who knows nothing about legislative business and governance.

Amalambu who reeled out some of the humanitarian and philanthropic gestures, he carried out overtime, assured that he will never betray his people, if duly elected by them as their legislator.

He suggested to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to make the job of voting in the year 2023 easier by making the ballot paper bear the party logo, name and picture of the candidates.
