UK-PACT Team Visits Rep. Onuigbo Over Climate Change Act 2021

The UK-PACT team from London, have visited the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State, Rep. Sam Onuigbo to discuss the implementation of the Climate Change Act 2021.

The team visited the Lawmaker alongside their counterparts from the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO).

The Lawmaker in a statement issued to FamousReporters.com, expressed deep satisfaction over the envisioned collaboration between Nigeria and the team.

The statement read in brief:

“I hosted in my office today, the UK-PACT team from London, and their counterparts from the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO).

“They had come to get my views on the implementation of the Climate Change Act 2021, Nigeria’s COP27 priorities, and NDC implementation challenges and opportunities in the country.
