The blind, lame, others smile home as Gov. Umahi extends palliatives to physically challenged

It was a moment of joy and happiness as Ebonyi state  government led by Governor David Umahi has extended relief items to physically challenged persons in the state in his bid to deaden the adverse effects of the extant partial lockdown instilled by the coronavirus pandemic.

Addressing Journalists shortly after the distribution of the large portion of palliatives, the senior spacial assistant to Ebonyi state Governor on religious Matters, Fr Nwali commended Governor Umahi’s magnanimity and the tender heartedness towards the physical challenged, the windows vulnerable in general.

Also speaking, the chairman Nigeria union of the blind Ebonyi state chapter Barr Enyi Joseph Nwabueze who was also one of the beneficiaries thanked the state Governor and SSA to the Governor on regious and Welfare Matters for remembering the special citizens in the state.

He implored his members to always show gratitude to the Governor for his kind gesture towards them wgile charging them also to earnestly pray for the latter’s protection and preservation.

Corroborating, the Publicity Secretary, Nigeria association of the Blind, Ebonyi state chapter, Mr Alo Sampson and Mrs Eze Maria commended Governor Umahi’s magnanimity towards them “especially in this time of Corona virus.”
