‘Thank God you’re elected’, Ikwuano Diasporan Son, Dr. Uke Felicitates With Rep. Member-Elect, Aguocha

A prominent, diasporan son of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, Dr. Ifeanyi Uke has, amidst immense pleasure, congratulated the newly elected House of Representatives member for Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, describing his victory as well deserved.

Uke urged Aguocha not to take the people’s benevolence on him for granted, admitting that his landslide victory is a glaring indication that he is the people’s mandate.

In his hearty congratulatory message, Dr. Uke wrote:

“Dear High Chief Obi Aguocha, Hon Member-elect,

“I join the host of men and women of goodwill to extend my warmest and hearty congratulations to you on your well-deserved victory on February 25th, 2023, to emerge as the member-elect for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency of Abia State.

“Interacting closely with some of your campaign team helped me understand and appreciate your level of commitment. You have undoubtedly worked so hard to achieve this feat and I am elated that the dedication and hard work that you put into your election campaign finally paid off, Kudos!

“More so, your landslide victory is an indication that you are the people’s mandate and as such should not take the people’s benevolence on you for granted. In view of this, please accept my highest wishes for your success as you prepare to assume your oversight and legislative obligations and challenges inherent in your new position.

“Furthermore, as you deservedly celebrate your victory, I plead to enjoin you to always remember that to whom much is given, much is expected. During your campaign in Ikwuano, you courageously and rightly highlighted the plights of Nde Ikwuano and hit your chest in the assurance that if you are elected that you will conscientiously see to it that those plights are resolved.

Thank God that you are elected! As you enter your new office as the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, I, therefore, wish to re-echo those words to you with great optimism that, you as a man of your word, will make your campaign promises to Nde Ikwuano part of your high priorities now that the eagle has landed. The people of Ikwuano have shown you that they love you a lot by voting massively for you, now it is your turn to show Nde Ikwuano that you love them back by representing us equitably and in fairness.

More so, as you embark upon and focus on your new legislative work ahead, please be rest assured of my personal support and continued friendship and that of many progressive-minded Umu Ikwuano who are committed to enriching lives in our local communities through economic development.

Also, as Ikwuano/Umuahia, your constituency, competes with other constituencies to attract and retain businesses and projects, please rest assured that Nde Ikwuano welcomes the opportunity to give you a tour of the LGA to assess, firsthand, the golden and untapped economic opportunities that abound within the four clans of Ikwuano.

Once more and finally, please accept my profound congratulations for your well-deserved victory and my highest success wishes for your noble future endeavors as you easily remember to fulfill all your promises to Ikwuano/Umuahia and shine brightly all through your tenure and beyond.

Warmest Regard,

Chief Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Uke
