I’m not afraid to meet you in Court, contractors must return to site, LP’s Isienyi dares PDP, Nwabuisi *Accept Election Verdict, Will Of Ikwuano People, Nwabuisi told

The people of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State in its entirety, have unanimously urged the defeated incumbent Member Ikwuano State Constituency, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi to sheath his sword and desist from disrupting the envisioned development of the area through the newly elected member-elect, Engr. Boniface Isienyi.

The people advised Nwabuisi to accept the decision of the people to have Isienyi who emerged victorious in the March 18 election, represent them.

Speaking in a release signed by the Member-elect, the people described as uncalled for and ill-timed the decision of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP who glaringly lost to the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate during the exercise.

The people further stressed that the said election which produced the trio of Engr. Boniface Isienyi, High Chief Obi Aguocha and Dr. Alex Otti was “credible and transparent in the anal history of election administration in Abia state.”

However, while reiterating his unflinching commitment to ensuring the age-long dead hope of the people of Ikwuano, Isienyi reminded Nwabuisi that his preparedness to face him in court, “if he so desires.”

Unperturbed by the plot to distract him through the litigations, Isienyi informed Nwabuisi and the entire PDP in Ikwuano that “contractors must return to site against all odds. I am not perturbed by your purported litigation and I can assure you that I shall never be distracted by your antics.

The release read in detail:

IKWUANO SUE FOR PEACE, URGE HON STANLEY NWABUISI TO ACCEPT ELECTION VERDICT AND THE WILL OF IKWUANO PEOPLE.

The news of the court suit filed by Hon Stanley Nwabuisi challenging the election victory of Hon Boniface Isienyi is uncalled for and ill-timed as the election of Hon Boniface Isienyi and Dr Alex Oti were credible and transparent in the anal history of election administration in Abia state.

The Honorable, Boniface Isienyi made this call, urging Hon Stanley Nwabuisi to eschew his personal interest and withdraw the case from court for Ikwuano unity.

According to Hon Boniface Isienyi, he won the election on the merit of his pedigree and wide acceptability of labour party by electorates in Ikwuano who was desirous for change.

Why it baffles him that Hon Stanley Nwabuisi is alleging use of thugs and violent conducts on the election arena, truth be told they were the one who applied such inhuman strategy which later failed them as INEC resolved to remain transparent to their responsibility and without compromise.

It is equally important to remind Hon Stanley Nwabuisi that 9 candidates of the 10 contestants in Ikwuano that competed for the election have since congratulated Hon Isienyi and also pledged to work with him for peace, unity and stability of Ikwuano they seek to lead.

Signed: Boniface Isienyi for good governance Ikwuano
