“Professor Charles Soludo of APGA wins the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election in a landslide, defeating APC’s Nicholas Ukachukwu and sweeping all 21 LGAs with over 422,000 votes, reaffirming his dominance in Anambra politics.”

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has been declared winner of the Anambra State Governorship Election, securing a resounding victory across all 21 local government areas of the state.

Soludo, the incumbent governor, defeated 15 other candidates in a contest that reaffirmed APGA’s political dominance in Anambra.

According to official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Soludo polled a total of 422,664 votes, while his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), garnered 99,445 votes.

The election, conducted across 5,720 polling units, witnessed a peaceful turnout, with APGA recording commanding leads in both urban centres and rural strongholds.

Political analysts have described the outcome as a landslide victory, noting that Soludo’s re-election reflects public confidence in his administration’s developmental strides.
