The Lagos State Police Command has invited the Senior Pastor of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Chris Okafor, over allegations of multiple rape, other sexual offences, and conducts likely to breach public peace and disrupt law and order in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, and made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP).

According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (DC SCID) to conduct a thorough and discreet investigation into the various criminal allegations leveled against the cleric.

Pastor Okafor has reportedly been served with an official invitation letter through his legal representative and is expected to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, on Monday, where he is to cooperate fully with investigators probing allegations of capital offences and other serious crimes.
