Rep. Onuigbo Commiserates With Ikpeama’s family

 

 

Rep. Sam Onuigbo, the senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency has commiserated with the family of Late Mr. Okechukwu Ikpeama, former Secretary, PDP Afugiri ward.

Mr. Ikpeama’s death occured, at his country home, Afugiri, Ohuhu, Umuahia North L.G.A, following a brief illness.

 

 

In his tribute, Rep. Onuigbo described the deceased as a man who was known to uphold and stand by the truth.

 

“I have always been a welcome guest at your home. I was here sometime ago to celebrate with your family during your daughter’s wedding, and I am here now to share in your loss, and to condole with you on behalf of myself,

my family, and the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency whom I represent at the National Assembly, Abuja. Your father was an upright man who has left a good name and wonderful legacies worthy of emulation. I therefore urge you to emulate his good nature,” he said.

Onuigbo urged the bereaved to take solace in the “fact that your father is in a better place, knowing that he was a good man”, as he prayed and for God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

 

In their response, the family of late Ikpeama thanked Odozio-Obodo for his consistent support, adding “in joy and in grief, and we pray that God continues to bless you in all your endeavours.”

 

Meanwhile, Rep. Onuigbo had in his company, a delegation comprising Evang. Abraham Osondu—Chief Liaison Officer; Elder Ikechukwu Orji—PG Ihim Community; Chief Mrs. Ego Nwamuo—Former Education Secretary; Chukwuemeka Uchegbu and Barr. Uwaoma Chikezie.
