Pandemonium, as Teenage Boy Plucks Out 7-Year-Old Cousin’s Eyes for Rituals

Pandemonium has erupted in Bayan Dutse, Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, after a shocking case of a ritual attack involving a teenage boy and his own cousin.

According to reports, Auwal Dahiru, a teenager, was arrested for allegedly conspiring with five others to lure his seven-year-old cousin, Rukkaya Muhammad, into a nearby bush — where they forcefully plucked out her eyes for alleged money rituals.

The heartbreaking act has left the entire community in deep shock and sorrow.

The suspect’s mother, Amina Adamu, could not hold back tears during an interview with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where she expressed unimaginable grief and regret over her son’s monstrous deed.

In her words:

“I wish I were dead and didn’t have to see this day. I don’t like anything that will annoy my brother,”
she cried, referring to Muhammad Adamu, the father of the little victim, Rukkaya.

Sources say the victim is currently battling for her life, while the police have launched a full investigation into the gruesome incident.
