Pandemonium, as dead woman wakes up during funeral in Abia

An awe striking incident took place at Umueze, a community in Abia State, on Saturday, as a woman who was earlier declared dead allegedly returned to life while in her coffin, a few moments before interment.

The horror incident which caused goosebumps on the bodies of mourners at the burial ceremonies, was reportedly, described as a case of premature death declaration by medical experts.

Sources further disclosed that the formerly deceased’s body was depo in a morgue for two days before burial arrangements were made. The shocking twist came when the coffin was opened for a final farewell, and mourners heard a faint cough.

“At first, we thought it was our imagination,” said Mr. Obinna, a cousin of the woman. “But when we looked closely, we saw her chest moving. People started screaming and running”.
