Osun FRSC Officer, Daughter Killed After ‘Spiritual Cleansing’ Trip With Lover — Suspect Says He Was ‘Hypnotised’

“A tragic investigative report on how an FRSC officer, Funmilayo Lasisi, and her six-year-old daughter were murdered in Osun State after a supposed “spiritual cleansing” trip with her boyfriend, who now claims he was “hypnotised.” Interpol later arrested him in Ghana along with two herbalists linked to the crime.”

According to a report published by The Punch on pm words to investigators: “I knew they were going to kill her. I never knew they were going to harvest their organs.

He was referring to Funmilayo Lasisi, an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) with whom he had been in a relationship, and her six-year-old daughter, Sewa.

A Message That Led to Death

On November 2, 2025, Victor sent Funmilayo a warm, reassuring message. He told her that a powerful spiritualist—“a baba” in Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State—could perform a cleansing ritual that would change both their fortunes. Trusting her partner, Funmilayo packed a small bag, took her daughter, and followed him on what she believed would be a short spiritual journey.

It became their last.

A Prophecy That Triggered a Deadly Plot

During police interrogation, Victor said an alfa in Lagos had earlier warned him that Funmilayo was the reason behind his failing business.

“She has used your glory,” the cleric allegedly told him.
The alfa reportedly insisted that the only way to restore his destiny was to “remove her from the surface of the earth.”

Victor claimed he felt overwhelmed and spiritually manipulated. Seeking a quick solution, he contacted a herbalist he found on TikTok, Gboyega Daramola, and allegedly paid him to carry out the act.

The Journey to the Forest

Victor admitted that he personally drove Funmilayo and her daughter to a forested area. He said he stepped aside as they were led deeper into the bush.

He insisted he believed it would be a quick ritual—not a brutal killing.

“It was as if I was hypnotised… When we got there, I knew they were going to kill her. I never knew they harvested their organs,” he told investigators.
He claimed he only learned about the beheadings and mutilation through the media.

Flight Across Borders

According to him, the news of organ harvesting left him shaken:
“When I heard they took the head, breasts, hands, and private parts, I almost fainted.”

Victor said he fled—first to a mountain in Ikoyi, Osun State, then to Ibadan, and eventually to Ghana—where he stayed until he was tracked down by Interpol and arrested.

Suspects and Grim Discoveries

Police also arrested two herbalists allegedly linked to the crime:

Both men reportedly denied direct involvement while pointing fingers at two other suspects still at large.

The remains of the victims confirmed the brutality of the crime.
