Orji Kalu Cries Out Over Deluge Of Calls To Run For Presidency
*Says party to visit Aso Rock after zoning to S’East

Following the visit of some Political elites from the Southeast, to President Mohammadu Buhari, yesterday, the Senate Chief Whip, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu says he has been beflooded with calls, urging him to run for the office of the President in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

The former Governor of Abia State, on his Facebook handle, today, informed that the visit of his supposedly counterparts to the office of the President, yesterday, was accompanied by inundations from his mammoth supporters, advising him to declare his intentions to contest for Presidency.

Sen. Kalu further disclosed that his party would not hesitate to visit Aso Villa in order to relay their collective decision you to PMB.

“Fellow Nigerians

“I have been inundated with pressured requests to declare my intention to run for the Presidency of our dear country and visit Mr. President following visits by my other brothers to Mr. President yesterday. 

“I have taken off time to inform ourselves through the media that as a party man who believes in the supremacy of our  party. I shall as soon as the party zones the Presidency and the southern Nigeria is zoned to produce the Presidential candidate of our party, my train which is already steaming, shall take off with a visit to Aso Rock Villa and brief Mr. President of our collective decision.
