The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, fcss, yesterday commended the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and the Lagos State Government (LASG) for their unprecedented and proactive efforts towards enhancing national security in our democracy.

National Association of can report that Alfadarai made this known in a Lecture Series and Award ceremony organized, by the Institute of Criminology and Strategic Studies Nigeria (ICSS), to commemorate this year’s ‘Democracy Day,’ the NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, called on the three tiers of government, in the nation, to perceive the consistent and continuous, engagement and inclusion of the youth as one of the major panacea to enhancing national security in the nation amongst many other vital solutions.

The press release by the NSCDC Lagos PRO, DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun to NAOSNP also noted that the State Commandant, Usman Alfadarai, in the same vein bagged the prestigious Fellowship award of the renowned institute, aforementioned above earning him the title, ‘fcss,’ at the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU), ranking as one of the best State Universities in Nigeria and one of the best in West Africa. Commandant UI Alfadarai an excellent graduate of political science from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University ABU), Zaria, Master Degree holder in Public Administration and a vast and well experienced administrative and operational officer, recently bagged, fellow institute of security of Nigeria (fisn), from the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG), a few months upon resumption, before adding another ceremonious feather.
Commandant of Corps UI Alfadarai, fcss, was honoured today, at the Lagos State University alongside other distinguished personalities in the country, such as Prof Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji – Bello, Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof Ibrahim Bakare, Director , LASU Consult and others recommended for Ambassadors of Peace Award / Award of Recognition, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Dr Sulaimon Raji Asade, The Oniba of Iba Kingdom, Prof Olufunso Omobitan, Deputy Vice – Chancellor Academic) , Prof Adenike Boyo , Deputy Vice – Chancellor (Administration) and Mr Emmanuel Fanu, Registrar, just to mention a few.
Finally, the Commandant seized, this rare opportunity to congratulate, the Chairman Governing – Council of the Institute and former Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ade Abolurin, psc+, Dfcss, OFR, rtd, the Registrar – General, Dr Adekunle Aderemi and other executives and members – in – council for being a sincere leadership and research based body that works assiduously, to proffering solutions to matters of national security and other related pressing matters of the nation.
