Nigeria Mourn as Oyo APC Chairman Dies in US

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state have been thrown into a deep state of melancholy following the death of the party’s Chairman Ajiboye Omodewu, in the United States of America (USA).
Nigerian politicians and citizens are in shock following the sudden death of Ajiboye Omodewu, Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC). He died in the early hours of Monday, August 19, in the United States, after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
A dedicated public servant, Omodewu served as a Commissioner under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi and was a prominent figure in Oyo State politics. His leadership and contributions to the APC and Nigerian politics will be deeply missed.
Omodewu’s recent achievement of completing his law degree and graduating from law school, despite his health challenges, is a testament to his determination and resilience.
Meanwhile, tributes are pouring in from across the political spectrum, with colleagues and associates remembering him for his dedication, wisdom, and leadership. The APC and the people of Oyo State have lost a true leader and champion.
