Breaking: APC Nat’l Chairman, Ganjude resigns

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has resigned from his position as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing health reasons for his decision.

Ganduje cited health reasons for his decision, stating that he needs to focus on his well-being.

As reported by Premium Times, the former Kano State governor resigned on Friday, June 27, 2025 with immediate effect.

It will be recalled that Ganduje was appointed as APC chairman in August 2023 following the resignation of former national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu from the North-Central zone.

Following his resignation, the APC’s National Vice Chairman is expected to assume leadership in an acting capacity pending the party’s national convention scheduled for December.
