ICYF Lauds Abia Governor, Otti, Ikwuano Mayor, Nwaka over quintessential leadership style

The Executives and entire members of Ibere Concerned Youth Forum, a renowned socio-political group in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State have unanimously restated their satisfaction over the quintessential leadership of the Labour Party (LP) government of Dr. Alex Otti.

Describing Otti’s leadership style as ‘second to none’ in a communiqué
issued at the end of the general meeting of Ibere Concerned Youth Forum (ICYF) held on August 13, 2024 in Ibere, and made available to the Media, the group lauded the Governor for transforming the state “through his developmental and infrastructural strides since assuming office as the Executive Governor of Abia State.”

“We the Executives and members of the Ibere Concerned Youths Forum, met today as part of our periodic General meetings to discuss cogent issues During the meeting, we resolved to express our heartfelt appreciation to our quintessence Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Choma Otti, Ofr.

Also, the youths expressed intense gratitude to the Governor for acknowledging the competence and unreserved dedication of one of their illustrious sons, Comrd. Osinachi Hyacinth Nwaka, which they noted had prompted his reappointment as the Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Area,

They described the reappointment as “a profound honour for Ndi Ibere Clan; we do not take this privilege for granted, hence our sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Gov. Otti on the confidence of leadership on our son Mayor Osinachl Hyacinth Nwaka.”

Amidst elation, the youths commended the Governor’s commitment to excellence and visionary approach to leadership, recounting that the state has experienced remarkable transformations under his administration, thus making Abia a centre of attraction in the region and across the Nigerian nation.

“Under Governor Otti’s leadership, Abia State has witnessed remarkable transformations that have put the state as a reference point for effective governance, not only in South East but across Nigeria. His Excellency,
your commitment to excellence and visionary approach to leadership have brought significant progress to Abla Sate.”

The communiqué read in part:

“We extend our profound gratitude to the Governor for his interventions in Ikwuano through the office of Mayor Osinachi Nwaka. These interventions have had a transformative impact on our local government, ensuring that Ikwuano experiences good governance and development as other local governments in the state”.

Meanwhile, among the achievements of Nwaka under the LP government as outlined by the group are: Grading of roads; Drilling of boreholes; Giving the Local Government Headquarters a new look; the Ongoing construction of the ICT Center at the LGA Headquarters.

Others are: rescuing 3 kidnapped children of lkwuano from Ekwulobia, Anambra and Warri, Detta States; Equipping the Ikwuano Home Land Security with 1 Sienna Car and 3 motorcycles; Providing a 30KVA power generating set at the Local Government Headquarters; Renovation of Agricultural Department binding inside the LGA; 300 KVA Transformer at Isiaia Oboro Village, the host community of the Council’s headquarters; and Reconstruction of the Ikwuano LGA mini Stadium, etc.
