Prince Ike Okorafor was born in Ozu Abam in Arochukwu LGA of Abia State. He is the grandson of His Royal Highness, Eze (Dr.) Ike Okoroafor (Onyerubi II of Abam) of blessed memory.

Prince Ike Okorafor is the Founder of IOK Educational Foundation (IOEF), and the Chief Executive Officer of Evolette Resources Nigeria Limited.

He is an American-trained Political Scientist, Public Health Scholar, farmer, educationist and above all, a crusader of good governance.

He holds:

• A Bachelors Degree in Government/ Public Administration from Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria,
• A Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) from the Federal College of Education, Zaria, Nigeria,
• Masters Degree in Political Science from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus, New York, USA.
• Masters in Public Health, Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus, New York, USA.

Prince Ike Okorafor is a member of National and International Professional bodies such as:

• Member, American Public Health Association

• Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria.

• Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

• Federated Teachers of New York City, USA.

• Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, New York, USA.

• Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, the USA among others.

In 2019, the young enthusiastic Ike Okorafor powered a program titled “Project One Pad”, where he provided a large number of sanitary pads for young rural girls who just attended the puberty stage and empowered them with the critical information and skills to ensure proper hygiene.

In 2020, he organized the Accord project where more than 500 rural youths gained a lot of knowledge from Guest speakers while many were awarded scholarships among other cash prizes.

To crown it all, in 2021, Prince Ike Okorafor has launched a program tagged “Agro Rural Aid” a platform to ensure food security in rural communities.

As a Serial Entrepreneur and a pacesetter, Prince Okorafor set up a Multimillionaire EVOLETTE FARM, ” a subsidiary of Evolette Resources Limited which has been completed and now offers training to young people to become self-reliant, and drivers of entrepreneurship and economic development. This farm commenced production on January 10, 2021.

As an Educationist and lover of human development, Prince Ike Okorafor has offered Scholarships to about Twenty One (21) students in his community, Ozu Abam, from the three major secondary schools.

Again, as a Public Health specialist who is so passionate about eradicating the mortality rate, Prince Ike has added another feather by organizing a Maternal Health Campaign against pregnancy complications that have claimed many lives of our young women especially in the rural communities which were launched on 3rd January 2022.

To contribute his quota to his community development, Prince Ike has embarked on the renovation of the dilapidated Ebele Ozu, to give it a facelift and provide a serene environment for relaxation.

Prince Ike Okorafor is a recipient of numerous awards in recognition of his humanitarian acts, human capital development and community development efforts. Among such awards includes the Man of Excellence, 2021 by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and the Exceptional Service to Humanity Award by the Women of Valour, just to mention but a few.

Recently, in recognition of his positive impacts, contributions to his community development, being a bold and great voice in Abam Onyerubi, the 26 Traditional Rulers in Abam conferred on him the chieftaincy title of DIKE OGU 1 OF ABAM ONYERUBI.

Prince Ike Okorafor is a youth and community leader who has impacted positively in his immediate community and beyond through his sterling leadership qualities and mentorship.

He is focused, dynamic, humane and grassroots-oriented. He is a brave and frugal crusader against underdevelopment and has remained undaunted in his fight to better the lives of his community. He is a mobilizer of men and resources, a pathfinder, a writer, a thinker, a clairvoyant public servant, an aggressive crusader for social justice, equity and fair play, a man of the people, a peacemaker, orator and a well-accomplished statesman.

Prince Ike has a passion for charity and philanthropy. He considers giving as a way of life and derives great pleasure in giving helping hands to the needy and the less privileged.
