MARCH18: Results are being rewritten, LP Candidate cries out

The candidate of Labour Party for Ikwuano State Constituency of Abia State, Engr. Boniface Isienyi has lamented that some members of the opposition parties, suspected to be PDP faithfuls have allegedly resorted to rewriting of election results.

Isienyi who disclosed this in a telephone conversation with famousreporters.com, after elections had come to a close, as he called on INEC and the security agencies to swing into action to ensure that the people’s mandate would be subverted.

Reacting to the awful situation, I. A telephone conversation, the traditional ruler of Umudike-Ukwu, in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, HRH, Eze Ben Oriaku informed that the exercise the people of his Community and it’s environs witnessed a hitch free exercise, saying, “I voted at Umudike Primary School, Ward 2, Unit 4 and the exercise was peaceful.

Asked about the alleged rewriting of election results in the area particularly in Oloko Wards, the royal father said:
“The original ones have been uploaded and other parties have theirs and so we are waiting for them to come with their manufactured results. The whole BIVAS submitted.

Continuing, he said: “The rewriting was allegations so we can’t establish it. For the election in my community, it was peaceful with low turnout. Results were counted and uploaded after voting.

“That area they’re raising alarm on does not have that voting power and accreditation had been done already so if they produce a result that surpasses the number of accredited voters whose votes have been captured already on the BIVAS, it will be rendered useless. So, people should not panic”, he maintained.
