March 18 HoA Election: Amalambu assures Umuawa of unblemished outing, solicits support
The Abia State House of Assembly candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC for Umuahia North State Constituency, Rev. Blessed Amalambu has encouraged the electorate to ignore sycophants, money bags and sugar coated politicians who might come to deceive and buy their conscience in the March 18, 2023 election.
Addressing the people of Umuawa in Nkwoachara ward in Afor Umuawa hall during a campaign visit, Amalambu who advised the eligible voters to vote wisely in the House of Assembly poll, observed that Umuahia North State Constituency is in dire need of effective representation.
Amalambu, the State Coordinator of NAVC/ICPC reminded them that qualitative and transparent representation would be easier when they properly equip themselves with their Permanent Voter Cards to vote him in as a legislator at the poll.
The ADC HoA candidate who exposed and expounded the situation that surrounded his political ambition, disclosed that he joined the ADC which he described as a virgin party in order to have an unblemished outing.
“I want to correct the perceived anomalies in the political environment, so prepare your minds to vote for good governance and quality representation in Ohuhu clan with your Permanent Voter Cards. Our votes now count unlike before and we must no longer vote for political parties but individuals with pedigree. Give me your support for effective and efficient representation”.
Amalambu who urged the people to hold him accountable and also judge him by his words, vowed to run to a transparent tenure, if duly elected.
“My theme is Ohuhu rejoice. I will establish the first House of Assembly Liaison office which will be located at a central place in Ohuhu Constituency; Kick-start a periodic Stakeholders town hall meeting disclosed the Constituency allowance to the Constituents and the projects done with it and also set up a structural template. I believe under my watch, Ohuhu Constituency and Abia State in general will be sanitized”.
The President General of the community, Mr. Uwadi Chinenye among others who spoke, passionately appealed to Rev. Amalambu to stick to his promises as they will give him the maximum support required to send him to the State House of Assembly as a lawmaker representing Umuahia North State Constituency.
