#KANU’sTRIAL: Buhari Tolling Path of Destroying Nigeria- Ohanaeze Youths Council …Says guns and warship can’t quench the call for Self-determination

The apex youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide- Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) says the steps taken by the present Nigerian government towards call of Self-determination by Pro-Biafra groups would inevitably result in the obliteration of the entire nation.

Reacting to what he described as “the unfortunate and illegal detentions of Pro-Biafrans activist all over the prisons and police cells in Nigeria”, the council regrets that Nigeria may not survive any anarchy.

Speaking through her President in Owerri, today Thursday, October 28, Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, OYC stated blankly that President Mohmmadu Buhari could bring the rising political tsunami to a transfix, in a twinkling of an eye.

Comrd. Igboayaka pointed that the turbulent situation of the present days Nigeria could be reversed through a demonstration of love by President Mohammadu Buhari, thus setting free all agitators from the various regions.

“President Mohammadu Buhari can use only “Love” to avert the political calamity or tsunami that’s about to befall on Nigeria, and that demonstration of love is declare and give a presidential order to release all the Pro-Biafrans agitators and Yoruba nation agitators.

“If President Mohammadu Buhari made this pronouncement, it will drastically change the dimension of Nigeria political survival and put Nigeria to a new page of unity and peace”, Igboayaka advised.

Comrade Igboayaka urged every political actor in IPOB to “eschew bitterness and anger, incitement or any act that will jeopardise the safety and release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu”, he said, adding that dialogue and negotiation could save Nigeria from impending danger.

Furthermore, he charged the advisors of the President to be circumspect in guiding the latter, so as to avert errors of whatever sort.

“Nigeria government should understand that, it’s not only IPOB led by Mazi Nnamd Kanu that is calling for self-determination, so using force against pro-Biafran has proven counter- productive starting from 1967 till date. Those who are around President Mohammadu Buhari should see the reality on ground and advice him properly, either to destroy Nigeria with hate or rebuild Nigeria with love, this is a choice President Mohammadu Buhari and his team should make earnestly.

Adding, he said: “It’s obvious that wise leaders avert crisis, but foolish men and poor leaders will lead the people into war or crisis, Buhari should act now, guns and warship can’t quench the call of Self-determination by Igbo youths, but a word of love and justice on a negotiation table can disarm the separatist group”, Igboayaka advised.
