A man identified as Mr. Unachukwu Nwaogu from Mbieri, in Owerri, Imo State has been reported shot by a Nigerian Army, today, June 1st, in the city of Owerri.
A source who disclosed this to famous reporters, Tuesday’s night but pleaded for anonymity said Nwaogu was on his way to Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri, in his bid to return to Germany. Reportedly, the deceased met his in untimely death at a military checkpoint by the Nigerian Army.
The source wrote: “So painful. 1st of June, Mr. Unachukwu Nwaogu from Mbieri who’s based in Hamburg, Germany was shot in the presence of his wife and children in Owerri, Imo State, by the Nigerian Army.”
