Job Seekers Beware: FMC Ovwian Issues Urgent Warning Over Fake Recruitment Claims

Job seekers hoping to secure employment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ovwian, Udu, Delta State, have been warned to stay alert as the hospital says it is not currently recruiting. Management has also cautioned the public against fraudsters who may use fake recruitment messages to collect money or steal personal information.

The Federal Medical Centre, Ovwian, Udu, Delta State, has confirmed that it is not currently conducting any recruitment or employment exercise. The hospital has warned job seekers to ignore fake recruitment messages and avoid paying money or sharing personal information with anyone claiming to recruit on its behalf.

The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ovwian, Udu, Delta State, has warned members of the public against fake recruitment claims circulating on social media.

The hospital clarified that no recruitment or employment exercise is currently being conducted at the medical centre.

Speaking with our reporter, the Chief Medical Director of the facility, Dr Kingsley Akaba, confirmed that the centre is not currently conducting any employment exercise.

He urged members of the public to disregard social media posts, messages or announcements claiming that FMC Ovwian is recruiting.

According to the management, the warning became necessary following the circulation of unverified recruitment information that could mislead unsuspecting job seekers.

The hospital also warned that fraudsters could exploit such false claims to demand money from desperate applicants or obtain sensitive personal information.

In a public disclaimer, the management stated: “Any information circulating on social media claiming that the Centre is currently recruiting is false and should be disregarded.”

The centre further advised prospective applicants not to pay money or provide personal details to anyone claiming to be recruiting on its behalf.

Instead, members of the public seeking genuine employment opportunities have been advised to rely only on official announcements released through the centre’s verified communication channels.

Management also urged the public to share the disclaimer widely to prevent unsuspecting job seekers from falling victim to recruitment scams.
