Imo Guber: Gov. Hope Uzodimma steps down for PDP’s SamDaddy

Following the pressure and rejection by the Imolites, organised labour group, IPOB, MASSOB and other Igbo groups the Imo state governor Senator Hope Uzodimma has withdrawn from the 2023 Imo state governorship poll which is taking place on Saturday 11th November 2023, In his statement, Senator Hope Uzodimma said that he wouldn’t want to continue in the war called politics, he added that he haven’t been at peace, he confirmed that over 4000 Imo yourhs has been killed during his administration, many communities has also been destroyed

Gov. Hope Uzodinma noted that his further push in becoming the governor may result in killing of the remaining Imolites which he will not want to kill more of his brothers and sister in a quest for power, senator Hope Uzodinma claimed that he hasn’t slept since 3 years of his tenure in the office as a governor which he wouldn’t want to continue

You will recall that Imo state has been turned into a graveyard since the inception of Senator Hope Uzodimma as the governor of Imo state, Imo citizens has also confirmed that electricity has been cut off in the whole Imo state few weeks to the election, airports have also been shut against any entering to Imo state.
