Ikwuano Royal Father, Eze Oriaku Congratulates Prof. Ironkwe On Emergence As Commissioner

The Deputy Chairman of Ikwuano Council of Traditional Rulers, in Abia State, HRH, Eze Ben Oriaku has congratulated the Prof. Monica Ironkwe on her inauguration as the Commissioner for Agriculture, Abia State Government.

In a statement signed by the royal father, he described the nomination and subsequent inauguration of Prof.q Ironkwe as well deserved, saying that the system needed thorough sanctity.

He, therefore, urged the Commissioner to use her wealth of knowledge, as gathered from the academic field and work assiduously towards improving the Ministry thus advancing the Council and the State in general through improved agricultural system.

“The emergence of a true Ikwuano daughter as the Commissioner for Agriculture was envisaged by people of good conscience. This is because Ikwuano people are known agrarians and have evidently remained second to none in the agricultural sector among other sister Local Governments.

Meanwhile, he lauded the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti for considering it worth-the-while to integrate the renowned professor into his government, stressing that “as a true daughter of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Ironkwe’s emergence as a commissioner under your government shall go a long way in taking your administration to greater heights.

“Once again, congratulations, Prof. Ironkwe.”
