Igboayaka’s Vs Nwifuru:  OYC Extols Ikenga Imo, Other Representatives

The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the apex sociocultural Youth Organization of Igbo worldwide, has poured encomiums on members of the Federal House of Representatives for their rapid response to the protracted unlawful abduction and incarceration of its National President, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka.

According to OYC, their leader, Igboayaka was illegally abducted by the Anti Kidnapping Unit of Ebonyi State Police Command on Saturday 8 February, 2025 in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, shortly after his reelection for second term as President of Ohanaeze Youth Council.

and Comrd. Ifeanyichukwu Nweke and National Publicity Secretary, and issued to Famousreporters.com today, March 8, 2024, the Council lamented that “since then , Igboayaka has been remanded in the Abakaliki Correctional Centre.”

The release read in detail:

“The Council noted that on 8 February at about 7:30pm, Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka was abducted at Owerri by the Anti Kidnapping Unit of Ebonyi State Police Command, the OYC President was harassed, tortured, and intimidated write statement under duress by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of Ebonyi State Police Police Headquarters. Following the deteriorating health condition of Comrade Igboayaka, he was clandestinely arraigned at Abakalikii Magistrate Court 2 on 12th February 2025 at about 4:00pm, where he is being remanded in custody at Abakalikii Correctional Centre.

Francis Nwifuru and the Commissioner of Police Ebonyi State, CP Anthonia Adaku Uche-Anya
