Ebonyi Transport Bus Overturns On Umuahia Highway, Scores Dead, Injured
No fewer than 5 persons met their untimely deaths yesterday while travelling along the popular Umuahia highway en route to Ebonyi State.
This is following a fatal accident involving a bus belonging to Ebonyi State Transport Corporation that occurred during the noon hours of today, Friday, March 7.
The auto crash happened along Port Harcourt-Enugu Expressway, near Ohiya Mechanic Village in Umuahia.

According to an eyewitness report, the ill-fated bus somersaulted multiple times before coming to a drastic stop.
This devastating incident resulted in the tragic loss of five lives, leaving several other passengers with varying degrees of injuries.
Meanwhile, survivors of the accident are currently receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, while the remains of the deceased have been deposited at the FMC morgue.
Earlier, it was reported that the driver, who only suffered minor injuries, may have dozed off while driving, leading to the crash.
