As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general election, the debate over effective representation is taking centre stage in Orlu, Orsu and Oru-East Federal Constituency of Imo State.

Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for the constituency, says his ambition is built around accountability, courage, people-centred leadership and stronger representation at the National Assembly.

According to his campaign message, representation should go beyond occupying a seat in the National Assembly. Instead, elected office should be used to articulate the concerns of constituents and promote issues that affect their daily lives.
